50 ICONS OF DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE

"50 icons of design and architecture" is an educational game I designed for those, who want to learn more about this topic without reading books, which are usually massive. The game is interactive, so the user can either simply read about certain pieces or play by matching the illustration to the right description.

There are three ways to use the cards:
- Flip Through: Simply go through the cards one by one, flipping them to explore the images and their corresponding descriptions. This is great for casual learning or familiarizing yourself with the content.
- Match the Pairs: Lay out the cards with images and descriptions visible. Try to match the correct image to the right description. Flip the cards over to check the answers on the back to see if you got it right.
- Memory Game: Turn all the cards face down so the images and descriptions are hidden. Play a memory game by flipping two cards at a time, trying to pair the correct image with its matching description.

The colors in this project—basic red, blue, yellow, black, and white—are inspired by the De Stijl movement, founded by Piet Mondrian. This iconic design movement shaped timeless works like the Rietveld Schröder House and the Red and Blue Chair, emphasizing simplicity, balance, and harmony.
