ROOFTOP DESIGN, MARITIEM MUSEUM-ROTTERDAM

This project is a proposal for a public rooftop park on top of the Maritime Museum in Rotterdam. In a part of the city where green spaces are almost non-existent, the idea is to transform the unused rooftop into a vibrant, accessible place for everyone. The design includes several areas: a cozy café, a viewpoint overlooking the city, a playground for children, and an open grass section where people can simply relax and enjoy being outdoors.

To make the space easily accessible, an outdoor staircase is also part of the proposal, allowing visitors to reach the rooftop directly from street level without needing to go through the museum. The goal is to bring nature and community together in a space that feels welcoming, open, and truly part of the city.
